Some Notes on Sevilla to Cordoba

We are able to use the hotel´s computer for a minute, so I will try and add some color to Mike´s photos. For some reason, however, my camera memory to USB adaptor is not working.

We spent three days biking, two nights, going from Sevilla to Cordoba. Both nights were free stays: one at the dirt end of a parking lot and the other alongside a pool. Both were near restaurant/hotels named with variaotions of the word "Alamo."

The mountains were quite amazing, though sometimes hard to climb. Not too tall though, mostly 500 to 700 meters. So far we have done 50 to 80 km per day, spaced out by at least two luxurious meals.

That is all for now. Off to Granada.

  1. As a famous movie character said "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains" so it is a good thing that you are biking the hills! You have "iron legs" and if you are finding the hills strenuous what about the rest of us! Make sure you sample gazpacho where ever you go.
Safe Journey. We will try to keep track of you by logging into the site while on our trip which starts Thursday. Love Mom

  2. I'm excited to see how this blog develops. You should know that since you first mentioned this trip to me, I have been wanting to do something similar. Now, I'm planning to do a month-long trip from Paris to Naples this summer with a friend of mine. Looking forward to seeing how your trip goes!
